Brodotrogir gets a new Management Board

On Monday, April 15, 2013 new members of the Brodotrogir Management Board were appointed. The new president is Nenad Koncar while former director Mateo Tramontana became a member of the Board.

  On Monday, April 15, 2013 new members of the Brodotrogir Management Board were appointed. The new president is Nenad Koncar while former director Mateo Tramontana became a member of the Board. Management of the Trogir shipyard has been appointed for a term of five years.

   Brodotrogir's privatisation and restructuring lasted for years, and only nine days ago an agreement on the sale and transfer of shares was signed. The shipyard was bought by Kermas Energy of Danko Koncar. About 900 workers retained thier jobs, while three hundred git severance pay and left Brodotrogir for good.

   Koncar has pledged that in the next few years he will invest 2.4 billion into the shipyard, and pledge as a guarantee his real estate in Istria while the rest will be covered by a corporate guarantee of Kermas, writes dalmacijanews.com. He announced that shipbuilding will remain Brodotrogir's primary activity, but also noted that the privatization plan includes the tourism industry and service of megayachts.
