Chartert management of sailing boats of the global sports equipment and sailingboats brand Elan

The globally-acclaimed Slovenian brand Elan boasts 64 years of sailingboat production. Recently, the world premiere of Elan 360 Impression, that sets new standards in its class, took place

Aside from skiis, the Slovenian brand Elan also produces high-performance sailboats and motoryachts that boast top-notch design.

Latest in line is the Elan 360 Impression which presents „cutting edge“ standards in its class. The world premiere of Elan 360 Impression was at this year's Biograd Boat Show.

Elan 360 Impression presents a continuation of the successful tradition of the previous models of the Impression series- Elan 494 and Elan 444 ( http://www.najamplovila.hr/jedrenje/prezentacija-novog-elana-impression-494-u-portorozu-184.html)

Next year will see the premiere of its latest model in the series, Elan 354 , which will be on offer for charter at Kaiser yachting.

The world renowned Slovenian brand owes its success to a long tradition of shipbuilding, which dates back to the middle of the last century (1949).

Some of the oldest plastic Elan boats, however, are still in good condition and being used for navigation, although they are more than 50 years old.

In addition, some of the boats currently available on the market have the largest cockpit in its class (e.g.the already mentioned line of cruising yachts Impression) and entail other solutions otherwise typical of superyachts.

At the 2011 Duesseldorf Fair Elan's Model 350 received the coveted title of the " European Yacht of the Year 2011".

Next year, along with Elan 360, Elan 354 Impression arrived onto the global stage.

Besides Elan Impression 494, which has the largest cockpit in its class and Elan Impression 444, which is ideal for family cruisesKaiser yachting will also have in its charter Elan 354.

But first let's go back to the beginning of the construction of the first Elan vessel, more accurately, the first waterproof wooden panel that Elan started producing in 1949.

Although they were not made ??of plastic, the first Elan boats were very light and therefore ideal for sailing on the calm seas.

Then came the rubber kayaks.

The real revolution occurred in 1962, when production of boats made of reinforced polyester began.

The first model was designed for sailing on the calm seas, and it was 3.5 meters long.

In many tourist spots during the summer these boats were a real attention-drawer because nobody had seen anything like them before.

During the first year more than 100 boats were produced, most of which were exported to Sweden.

The Scandinavian method of construction was accepted and very soon boats with wide stern and high sides were being produced on a mass scale.

These highly resistant boats with Lloyd's certificate enabled Elan to achieve a breakthrough to the other overseas markets.

In the early seventies of the last century the production of commercially very successful and well-known model of tourist boats of the Tourist series began.

All boats of this series contained a T tag and a figure in the appendix.

In total there were seven models, most notably the T401 model, which was the best-selling model for the next 27 years.

It was followed by larger models such as Elan 600 Cruiser, Bavaria 23 Walkaround and Elan Power 35 (11 m).

Over time, the company's  production evolved geographically as well and the production of motor boats moved to Obrovac, Croatia. Today it has a new owner as well.

Sailing boats, however, are still produced in Slovenia, at the old Elan production base.
