On Wednesday, the Executive Board of the Croatian Sailing Federation (CSF) discussed the details of billing rules regarding the collection of annual dues in the amount of HRK 300 for cruisers which participate in regattas under the auspices of the Croatian Sailing Federation. Members of the Executive Board agreed that the final draft regulation will be delivered to clubs in the coming days in order to garner their opinions and suggestions.

The President of the Croatian Sailing Federation Anka Mrak Taritaš confirmed to Nautica Portal that in the first stage mandatory participation, i.e., annual membership fee for companies that own boats for rent and charter companies with ships participating in regattas will be introduced gradually.

Each of the clubs will retain 10 percent of the amount collected on behalf of membership for cruisers, and the remaining amount will be spent to encourage working with transitional classes at clubs, as previously announced, as well as to improve the working sections of cruisers operating within the CSF.

President Anka Mrak Taritaš said that all representatives expressed support for the decision, stating there are only a couple of individual cases of dissatisfaction, but points out that the membership is aware of the necessity to introduce order regarding the functioning of the section because a large part of the membership is unsatisfied.
