Office procedure in the base

What I need to know regarding office procedure before embarking on a chartered boat

Once in the office, you will be asked by our staff to present your voucher, a valid skipper's and VHF license along with a personal ID of all crew members.

If you haven’t already sent us a completed “Crew list” document or just a simple list of all crew members about to embark the boat, all necessary data needs to be entered into the online “Crew list” application at this point. Because it takes some time to complete, our recommendation is to send the data at least 7 days before by e-mail.

Every tourist visiting Croatia is obliged to pay an accommodation tax (a tourist tax) in the amount of 7 kuna (around 1 Euro) per day. Teenagers (12-18 yrs. old) enjoy a 50% discount and children under the age of 12 are exempt from taxation.

Besides the tourist tax, you should also make the final payment for chartering of the boat there in the form of a transit log and possible additional expenses.

The transit log fee includes bed linen, towels, dinghy, autopilot, GPS, cooking gas, final cleaning and VAT.

Additional expenses relate to the possible renting of the outboard motor, baby net, spinnaker, etc.

Since the transit log and tourist tax fee are paid on the spot in cash, please prepare in advance Croatian kunas (money exchange is possible only at the reception in the marina!)

Another option regarding the covering of additional expenses is via credit cards such as Visa or Mastercard. Compensation for eventual lost items or damage created during your charter period can also be paid with a credit card.

Before embarking and taking the yacht to the sea you are obliged to do one more thing and that's to leave the security deposit in our office. This can be done in cash or with a credit card.

Please bear in mind your daily credit card limits if using a credit card for a deposit.

Once all the paperwork is done in the office, you will be instructed when it is possible for a boat skipper to go through the check in procedure with a member of our staff.
