Ways of securing deposit for a boat that we offer
As you already know, before embarking on one and taking the yacht onto the sea you are obliged to leave a security deposit in our office. This can be done in cash or with a credit card (Visa, Master, American).
When the yacht is returned back to our base undamaged a security deposit is given back to you in full amount. In case the yacht has been damaged, and given that its safekeeping is your responsibility, the damage will be covered from your deposit.
There is also another method of leaving a security deposit and that is by securing your security deposit. It consists of two parts: a refundable (Deposit premium) and non refundable (Franchise) part and they are both calculated in accordance with the insured sum. Below is the table in which both shares are visible:
No | SUM INSURED (EURO) | DEPOSIT PREMIUM (EURO) | FRANCHISE (EURO) |
1 | 1000 | 130 | 300 |
2 | 1500 | 170 | 350 |
3 | 2000 | 210 | 400 |
4 | 2500 | 260 | 500 |
5 | 3000 | 310 | 600 |
6 | 3500 | 370 | 700 |
7 | 4000 | 420 | 800 |
Note: Securing of security deposit does not cover damages on the additionally hired spinnaker.
Listed data is not valid in case the yacht is participating in a regatta.
