From 25-28 April the Le Meridien Lav hotel marina will host the 5. consecutive Days of Croatian boatbuilding which will bring together a number of local manufacturers of boats from all corners of Croatia. The event will present 50 boats that come from all Croatian regions or about 60 percent of the currently active businesses and trades in the industry.

Special attention will be paid to the promotion of Croatian boats used in tourism, such as the M/Y Navilux, on which lectures and seminars all throughout 5. Days of Croatian boatbuilding will be held as well as the aluminum catamaran manufactured by Adriatic Workboats. A semi-submarine manufactured by the company Agena Marin will present itself once again to visitors with a new model that will delight children who can enjoy a free ride and a tour of the seabed.

"In addition to the presentation of the latest boats, the 5. Days of Croatian Boatbuilding will provide numerous opportunities to socialize, share experiences, new ideas, and it is precisely this optimism that is more pronounced here more than at any similar event. This year we are proud to present examples of traditional shipbuilding. For example, the famous shipbuilders from the Bakica family will present a beautiful boat. Their skills and love they have put into years of renovation have breathed a whole new life to it "said the president of The Days of Croatian Boatbuilding Branimir Matijaca.

The main partner of the organizers is once again Societe Generale bank, which offers a special credit line for the purchase of domestic vessels.

The number of exhibitors is only about 15% lower than last year, which was a record year so far.

The entrance to Days of Croatian Boatbuilding is free as well as parking and test drives of all the vessels exhibited. The exhibition hours are from 9 to 7 p.m. The grand opening is scheduled for Thursday, 25 April at 1 p.m., reports pomorac.net.
