The new Lagoon 39: simply a great company boat

On the occasion of the world premiere of the new Lagoon 39 it is our pleasure to share with you the latest details regarding the new model of the prestigious Lagoon series, the Lagoon 39

Although it represents the height of luxury for 4, Lagoon 39, the brand new Lagoon model is the right choice for you if you are planning to buy or rent a boat for a company in its 3 and 4 double cabin versions, with a large bathroom in each hull. It is available in several versions and there are different levels of equipment specific to each version.

The Lagoon 39 belongs to a whole new generation of Lagoon catamarans: with its bevelled vertical bows, its deckhouse seemingly levitated above the deck, its
central rig for performance under sail and ease of use… the Lagoon 39 makes a striking first impression.

The simple and efficient deck layout means that you can perform major manoeuvres from the steering station and move around safely thanks to the wide sidedecks, while the aft transoms make boarding and disembarking child’s play.

When it comes to protection and comfort, the Lagoon 39 cockpit is a model of its kind: the wide passageway that runs across to aft, a dining table to port,
comfortable seating on the starboard side, and a direct access to the steering station via the cockpit or from deck.

Thanks to close collaboration with the architects at VPLP, the Lagoon “new generation” has all the benefits of their unrivalled experience in designing racing
multihulls: the position of the mast, pushed back over the saloon thus opens up a host of new possibilities in terms of performance under sail and in terms of
user-friendliness: a self-tacking genoa, large downwind sails (Code 0, spinnaker), a high aspect ratio mainsail for greater efficiency at the top, a shorter boom for
jibing, to name but a few.

Naturally, in designing a 39’ cruising catamaran, making the most efficient use of space has been a top priority. The choices made by Nauta Design and the teams at Lagoon are a mix of ingenuity and elegance. The saloon features vertical windows and has a large dining table forward to starboard, a navigation area with a chart table, an onboard electronics panel and a hinged shelf for storage. Aft to portside, the L-shaped galley directly opposite the cockpit has a gas cooker and oven, double sink and a refrigerator fitted under the worktop.

Yes, that’s right, the new Lagoon 39 is available with an interior layout featuring a large owner’s cabin in each hull. This version made for 2 couples includes
symmetrical and equally luxurious cabin layouts, each with a large double bed, divan, desk, double wardrobe and spacious bathroom in the bow.

The number of available ships for 2013 is limited and all available ships have already been sold or reserved. Given the expected interest following the fair in Duesseldorf reservations can be made and a Lagoona model 39 ordered for 2014 directly at the designated Croatian dealership, Navi Sailing Center Split.
