Trips and yacht charter during the 2014 World Soccer Cup and 2016 Olympic Games

Kaiser Yachting agency organizes yacht charter and travels to the 2014 World Soccer Cup and the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil

• The most popular Brazilian coastal destinations are Angra dos Reis, the Brazilian town of Paraty and the city of Buzios, dubbed the Brazilian "St. Tropez"

• The main marinas are Rio de Janeiro (Marina da Gloria), Sao Paulo (Porto Marina Asturia CING), Bahia (Bahia Marina), Parana (Porto Marna Ocean), Ceara (Marina Park Fortelza) and Paraiba (Yacare Yacht Village)

• Brazil's biggest marina Marina da Gloria plans to increase its capacity to 450 mooring spaces for yachts up to 76 m in length and over the next two years open up numerous restaurants and shops

Although it is primarily a continental country, Brazil has a pleasant climate throughout the year (on average between 25 and 33 degrees Celsius) .

Its coastline is 8500 km long, and this important South American country boasts 50,000 km of navigable waterways ( http://hr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brazilhttp://www.pinterest.com/seascapeyacht/top-yacht-charter-destinations/).

It is less known that Brazil and the upcoming World Soccer Cup have been conceived as a first-class yacht charter center.

It will be interesting to see if Rio de Janeiro will be able to host more superyachts than London, which during the 2012 summer Olympics managed to attract as many as 10 of the world 's most popular superyachts (http://www.olympic.org/rio-2016-summer-olympics , http://www.rio2016.com/en).

The World Soccer Cup in Brazil was held for the first time in 1950.

The second  World Soccer Cup will entail renovation of the stadium in Brasilia, while the other five cities that will host soccer matches in Brazil during the World Cup are building locations in which matches will be played. (http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/, http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/matches/).

Given that the main 'action' is reserved for Rio de Janeiro, there is no doubt that the majority of luxury yachts will be located in the capital during the upcoming football championship and the 2016 Olympic Games.

Currently, Brazil's most popular coastal destinations are  Angra dos Reis, located two hours away from Rio, and surrounded by 365 islands in the beautiful bay of Baia da Ilha Grande. (http://www.windward-islands.net/en/yacht-charter-brazil-angra-dos-reis/itinerarie/32 )

Then there is the historic city of Paraty, located on the coast of the Gulf of Baia da Ilha Grande and the city of Buziosdubbed the Brazillian „St. Tropez“, which is also locatedabout two hours' drive from Rio.

The main marinas are Rio de Janeiro (Marina da Gloria), Sao Paulo (Porto Marina Asturia CING), Bahia (Bahia Marina), Parana (Porto Marina Ocean), Ceara (Marina Park Fortelza ) and Paraiba (Yacare Yacht Village) .

For the upcoming World Soccer Cup, which will be held from 12 June to 13th July 2014 and the upcoming summer Olympics, which will be held in Rio de Janeiro from 5 to 21 August 2016the Brazil Yacht Services is developing plans for mooring of yachts near Rio de Janeiro.

According to Brazil Yacht Services, most yachts larger than 50 meters will have to be anchored in the waters beneath the popular Sugarloaf.

The main marina capital, Marina de Gloria, will be used exclusively for superyachts which will participate in competitions.

The Brazilian government has recently launched an industrial development campaign for superyachts.

Immedieately, Beneteau, one of the leading manufacturer of superyachts, opened a production plant in Brazil.

As part of the announced plans, Marina de Gloria plans to increase its capacity to 450 moorings for yachts up to 76 m in length and over the next two years many restaurants and shopsare expected to open up.
